Ingot mould
The moulds employed for the casting of steel ingots have a square, rectangular, round, or polygonal cross-section, in which liquid steel solidifies into a desired shape to be processed by rolling or forging.
We can supply square ingot mould, rectangular ingot mould, round ingot mould, polygonal ingot mould.
Our ingot moulds are made of grey cast iron or ductile cast iron.
Ingot mould weight: 1 ton to 200 tons
Different application of ingots
1. Ingots with square cross section are used for rolling into billets, rails and other structural sections.
2. Ingots with rectangular cross section, are used for rolling into flat products.
3. Round ingots are used for tube making.
4. Polygonal ingots are used to produce tyres, wheels, etc.
