In the advanced process of obtaining primary aluminum, electrolysis of aluminum oxide plays a pivotal role. Essential to this process is the anode yoke, a crucial component of the electrolysis device, typically composed of a beam and pawl structure. It securely attaches to the anode block, facilitating an essential conduction pathway between the anode block and the aluminum oxide solution. Under the influence of immense electrical current, the anode block metamorphoses into carbon dioxide, while the solution yields pure aluminum. This transformative process occurs at intensive temperatures ranging from approximately 950ºC to 970ºC.
